ANSWERS TO FREQUENT QUESTIONS

  • WHO TO TALK TO: Do not talk about your case with anyone except my office or your own doctor.
  • WHAT TO SIGN: Do not sign anything until you have talked it over with someone from my office.
  • PEOPLE WHO CALL YOU: If anyone asks you about your case, tell them your lawyer does not want you to talk about the case. Give them my name and telephone number. If they want more information, have them call me.

  • ADDRESS AND PHONE: If you move
or get a new telephone number, call my office immediately and give us your new information.
  • MEDICAL ITEMS: Save all pill bottles, casts, braces, prescriptions, medical bills and any other items from your doctors. Contact my office to ask whether or not we will need any of these items for your case.
  • YOUR JOB: If your job, job duties, hours worked, or salary changes at all during the course of your case, you must contact my office to advise us of the changes.
  • OFFICIAL REPORTS: Do not file any reports with anyone until you talk with someone from my office.
  • DO WHAT YOUR DOCTOR SAYS: There is never a reason or excuse to miss a doctor appointment. Not going to the doctor may be interpreted as a sign that you are not hurt.
If you do not keep appointments, the doctors may think you do not care. It is very important for you to work hard to get well and keep all necessary doctors appointments.
